The Forex markets, groups currencies into three groups:

The Majors
They constitute the largest share of the foreign exchange market, about 85%, and therefore they exhibit high market liquidity.
These pairs has the United States Dollar (USD) as either the base currency or quote currency.
They are
- EURO trades against the United States Dollar, which is represented as EURUSD.
- United States Dollar trades against the Japanese Yen, which is represented as USDJPY.
- Great British Pound trades against the United States Dollar, which is represented as GBPUSD.
- Australian Dollar trades against the United States Dollar, which is represented as AUDUSD.
- United States Dollar trades against the Swiss Franc, which is represented as USDCHF.
- New Zealand Dollar trades against the United States Dollar, which is represented as NZDUSD.
- United States Dollar trades against the Canadian Dollar, which is represented as USDCAD.
